report on swim for malaria

I did my swim in early morning today and finished 1km in 25 minutes. I wanted to register 2km, but the organizer said she has trouble to reserve so much time just for me, since around 100 staff and students are swimming on Friday. I have to finish my swim within 45 minutes. So I decided to go for 1km.

I got strong support from Jack, Wisher, and colleagues at LSHTM. There are two sponsorships from school colleagues that I especially want to thank for, Neal Alexandra from Colombia and Joanna Schellenberg from Tanzania, both are colleagues based overseas. I never met Joanna in person and only met Neal once at the group retreat in early Sep this year. With support from all over the world, I feel so strong that I could swim across the Atlantic ocean! :)

I finally raised £205 and $200. It tripled my expectation. My target was £100. Jack counts all my sponsorship in US! :) You are the most, probably the only as well, generous and caring pirate in the world and in history!! :))
